C001 Navigating Practice Management in Dermatology: Insights and Innovations
DESCRIPTION
This course will give participants increased perspective into a wide variety of topics applicable to practice management within dermatology. Key topics include coding and insurer updates, incorporating wellness, diversity and safety concepts into a practice, how to approach legislative updates affecting dermatology, and current barriers in accessing medications and how to approach them. Participants will also have the opportunity to pose their own practice management questions to the expert panel.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Appropriately utilize modifiers and updates in procedural coding, as well as recognize how insurers are approaching these topics.
Incorporate technological advancements into a practice to reduce administrative burden and develop best practices for managing staff.
Identify regulatory updates affecting the practice of dermatology, as well as how to prepare for them.
