BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Tolkachjov is the Founder and Director of the Mohs Fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center. He’s a Clinical Professor at Texas A&M College of Medicine, Clinical Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern and Dallas VA, and is the Director of Mohs for Epiphany Dermatology, having performed over 20,000 cases. He graduated from Emory University followed by the University of Tennessee College of Medicine at the top of his class. After residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, he completed MSDO fellowship in Birmingham, where he practiced prior to coming to Dallas. His research has facilitated over 240 publications in major medical journals with multiple roles as a primary investigator in clinical trials. He authored 2 textbooks on Mohs and reconstruction, contributed textbook chapters, and has edited 2 editions of Dermatologic Clinics. He has directed sessions and held committee positions and chairmanships in the AAD, ACMS, ASDS, ISDS, Noah Worcester, is the President of the Dallas Dermatologic Society and on the Board of Directors of the ASDS and the Mayo Clinic Dermatology Alumni. He was voted Teacher of the Year by UT Southwestern, Physician of the Year by Epiphany, Newsweek Top 100 Mohs surgeons, and is a proud father and husband.
