BIOGRAPHY
Cheryl M. Burgess, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist and founder of the Center for Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery in Washington, DC. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at The George Washington University and Georgetown University. Dr. Burgess is internationally recognized for her expertise in cosmetic dermatology, skin of color, and aesthetic innovation. She has authored over 100 scientific publications, holds multiple patents, and has delivered more than 200 lectures worldwide. A three-time recipient of the AAD Presidential Citation Award, Dr. Burgess serves on several editorial boards and advisory panels, and is a pioneer in advancing diversity, ethics, and mentorship in dermatology.
