BIOGRAPHY

Vidya Uprety is the Principal Clinical Project Manager at Medicines Development for Global Health (MDGH). MDGH headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, is a Not-for-Profit Pharmaceutical Company developing medicines to ease the burden of neglected diseases. With over 18 years of clinical research experience Vidya holds a Bachelor of Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Research and Data Management. Vidya has extensive expertise in clinical trial management, GCP compliance, and regulatory oversight. Vidya recently led the successful completion of a Phase II clinical trial evaluating a novel treatment for scabies titled: A Phase 2, Placebo-controlled, Double-blind, Randomized, Dose Ranging, Efficacy and Safety Study of Orally Administered Moxidectin in Adults With Scabies. Vidya will present the study results for the first time at a scientific meeting, highlighting the efficacy and safety findings. The study results are publicly available on ClinicalTrials.gov.
