BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Michelle Henry is a board-certified dermatologist, dermatologic surgeon, international speaker, and educator. She is the Founder and CEO of Skin & Aesthetic Surgery of Manhattan and the Founder of The Henry Research Group, where she leads cutting-edge clinical research and innovation in dermatology. Dr. Henry also serves as a Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at Weill Cornell Medical College, where she contributes to the training of future dermatologists. Dr. Henry specializes in general dermatology, Mohs micrographic surgery, cosmetic dermatologic surgery, and advanced skin rejuvenation. She completed her dermatology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where she served as Chief Resident, before pursuing fellowship training in cutaneous oncology, Mohs micrographic surgery, and reconstructive surgery at Harvard Medical School. Her clinical work focuses on the treatment of high-risk skin cancers, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, hair loss, and advanced aesthetic treatments, with particular expertise in caring for diverse skin types. A recognized thought leader in dermatology, Dr. Henry is frequently featured in leading publications including Forbes, The New York Times, Harper’s Bazaar, The Cut, Byrdie, and Coveteur. She is also a trusted medical media expert and regularly appears as an on-air contributor on the Today Show, helping translate complex dermatologic science into practical guidance for the public. Dr. Henry has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and is actively involved in advancing the field through research, clinical trials, and industry collaboration. She serves on multiple medical and advisory boards and participates in FDA clinical trials, while also contributing to product innovation through her role on L’Oréal’s Product Validation Board. Her professional excellence has been recognized with honors including Castle Connolly Top Doctor and New York Magazine Top Doctor. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American College of Mohs Surgery. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Melanoma Research Foundation, where she has been honored with the organization’s Excellence in Prevention Award.
