Daniel Aaron Belkin, MD, FAAD
BIOGRAPHY
Dan is a double board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon, fellowship-trained in cosmetic dermatology, laser surgery, and Mohs micrographic surgery. He joined New York Dermatology Group in 2021 after practicing at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York since 2017, and has extensive experience with lasers, energy-based devices, injectables, and advanced surgical techniques. A graduate of Amherst College and Weill Cornell Medical College, he completed a research fellowship at Rockefeller University focused on non-melanoma skin cancer, dermatology residency at the University of Southern California, and a prestigious Mohs, laser, and cosmetic dermatology fellowship under Roy Geronemus MD. He has authored textbook chapters and peer-reviewed articles in leading journals, speaks internationally on aesthetic dermatology, and is an assistant clinical professor of dermatology at Mount Sinai. Dan has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor, one of America’s Best Cosmetic Dermatologists by Newsweek, and a Super Doctors Rising Star by the New York Times Magazine, and has been featured in major media outlets including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Vogue, and The Martha Stewart Podcast.
