BIOGRAPHY
Dr Erik Stratman is chairman of the department of dermatology and residency program director at Marshfield Clinic Region of Sanford Health. He is also the Associate Executive Director for Research and Continuous Improvement for the American Board of Dermatology. He received his bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, summa cum laude, and medical doctorate, magna cum laude, from the University of Missouri- Columbia. He completed residency training at University of Wisconsin- Madison. He founded the dermatology residency training program at Marshfield Clinic in 2003. He is the president-elect of the Association of Professors of Dermatology and is the former Chairman of the ACGME Review Committee and former Chairman of the Council on Education for the American Academy of Dermatology. His career has been dedicated to dermatology education and assessment.
