PRL08 Pearls: Dermatopathology
DESCRIPTION
This is a fast-paced session where each speaker will present 3 to 4 carefully selected cases that highlight essential microscopic features, key histochemical stains, and relevant immunohistochemical or molecular findings. These illustrative examples are designed to provide practical dermatopathology insights and diagnostic tools that can be readily applied in clinical practice. The session focuses on helping participants recognize inflammatory and neoplastic conditions that are often misdiagnosed, ultimately aiming to enhance diagnostic accuracy, improve workflow efficiency, and contribute to better patient outcomes.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Identify key microscopic features and apply diagnostic skills to improve diagnosis.
Identify potential ways in which stains, immunohistochemistry or molecular studies can assist in diagnosis.
