DESCRIPTION
The field of dermatology is changing at a rapid pace. In this session, experts will summarize new innovations and ideas related to the treatment and understanding of complex medical dermatologic disorders. We will spend time looking at supportive oncodermatology, graft versus host disease, and connective tissue diseases. This will be a fast paced and eclectic collection of pearls for the practicing dermatologist.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Describe changes in our understanding of the pathophysiology of complex dermatologic conditions in both adults and children.
Formulate treatment options for complex dermatology problems, taking the patient's underlying immune status into account.
Create algorithms for the work up and treatment of complex diseases, like hidradenitis suppurative, graft-vs-host disease, connective tissue diseases, and oncodermatology.
