DESCRIPTION
Pigmentary disorders remain among the most common and challenging conditions encountered in dermatologic practice and are associated with significant psychosocial burden and quality-of-life impairment. Rapid advances in our understanding of disease pathogenesis, diagnostic technologies, and therapeutic options continue to reshape the management of conditions such as melasma, vitiligo, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and other disorders of hyper- and hypopigmentation.
This session will provide attendees with an up-to-date review of the hottest topics in pigmentary disorders, highlighting recent scientific discoveries, emerging treatment strategies, procedural innovations, and practical pearls for clinical implementation via a case based approach
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Diagnose, evaluate, and effectively assess patients suffering from melasma.
Formulate treatment regimens for melasma patients by incorporating topical, systemic and procedural treatments to help with diagnosis and management.
Utilize clinical cases to show the complex nature of melasma, and also incorporate scientific literature allowing the newest and latest treatments.
