POH05 Beyond the Screen: Building Smarter, Safer, and Seamless Teledermatology Practices
DESCRIPTION
This session will describe the evolution of teletechnology in practice from the 1990s to present day, including data on the application of AI scribing. The session will feature insights from specialists who have successfully used teletechnology to develop inpatient/outpatient consultation services as well as teledermatology models for triage and continuity of care. This session will provide updated guidance on the revised teledermatology coding going into effect for 2026. Furthermore, the session will describe business opportunities including partnerships with pharmacies and technological applications to enhance seamless, safe and effective virtual care delivery models.
