BIOGRAPHY

Genevieve Silva, MD, MBA is a PGY-1 resident at Penn Medicine Doylestown and an incoming dermatology resident at the University of Colorado. She recently completed a yearlong post-doctoral fellowship at UCSF with GreenHealth Lab, where she spearheaded multidisciplinary research on healthcare decarbonization and climate resiliency. Genevieve received her MD from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and her MBA from the Wharton School of Business, where she majored in Business, Energy, Environment, & Sustainability. She received her BS in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from Yale University. Genevieve was recognized for her work at the intersection of climate change and health with a 2024 Health Care Without Harm Emerging Physician Leader Award and has written multiple peer-reviewed publications on environmental sustainability/climate impacts within dermatology. She is a committee member of the American Academy of Dermatology’s Expert Resource Group on Climate Change and Environmental Affairs.
