BIOGRAPHY

Jonathan Rick was born and raised in rural Southern California. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he majored in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics. He then went to medical school at the University of California, San Francisco, where he graduated with distinction in research. During his medical education, Rick undertook a year of rigorous basic science research as a Howard Hughes Medical Fellow, where he studied cancer pathogenesis. He then undertook his dermatology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he was selected as a chief resident.
