Shani Francis, MD, MBA, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist, medical research executive, and Chair of the American Academy of Dermatology Performance Measurement Committee. With over 15 years of experience in clinical research and leadership, she specializes in patient safety, healthcare quality, and equitable care, with a focus on digital quality measures, program development, and innovative healthcare delivery systems. Dr. Francis is recognized for her contributions to performance improvement, clinical innovation, and advancing the meaningful use of data in dermatologic care. She is also an active media contributor, translating complex medical topics for broader audiences. She has held leadership roles across national organizations, including the AAD and the California Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.
