F076 Unraveling Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia: Current Landscape and Challenges
DESCRIPTION
Frontal fibrosing alopecia (FFA) is a relatively newly described disease which is now commonly seen in medical dermatology and hair disease clinics. This session will review the current landscape of what we know about FFA, the role of cosmetic procedures, patch testing and sunscreens, as well as new technologies to both study, treat and monitor this disease. Treatment algorithms for patients with newly diagnosed and those with extensive burnt out FFA will be discussed.
