DESCRIPTION

In the cosmetic portion of this course, we will evaluate how to optimize the use of various non-ablative technologies including radiofrequency, micro-focused ultrasound, and non-ablative fractionated laser. We will review patient selection, setting patient expectations, best practices in regards to treatment parameters.
For the general dermatologic surgery component of the session we will have two round-table discussion groups. In the first group, physicians early in their practice will discuss aspects of their early practice experience including: good advice or principles that grew their practice, efficiencies/tips and pearls, mistakes, or missed opportunities. In the second group, there will be a round-table from mature practices on developing their role so that they maximize joy in what they do. Also what changes have they implemented over their years of practice which have made the biggest difference.
