U024 The New ABD Continuing Certification Program: Simpler, Faster, Relevant
DESCRIPTION
Dermatologists certified by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD) have requirements for continuing their certification. In January 2026, the ABD launched an updated version of its Continuing Certification Program to make the program easier and faster for diplomates to complete while maintaining the same focus on practice relevance and program value. This session is designed to explain to dermatologists the requirements of the new ABD program and provide tips for successful program navigation, onboarding, and timely participation to remain board certified throughout their career.

Describe the yearly process of actively participating in ABD CertLink, its “teach to competence” model of assessment, and how CertLink questions are scored
