DESCRIPTION
The in-training and board certification exams all require a mastery of a broad breadth of information as dictated by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD) – overwhelmed yet? This interactive session will provide key points and tips for identifying and answering questions on the digital image portion of the certification/recertification exams. Attendees will have the opportunity to view numerous digital images with associated questions preparing them for the kodachrome portion of the exam. High-yield study material will also be covered as the images are reviewed. The session will benefit any dermatologist preparing for the ABD certification, recertification, or in-training exam.
This activity has been approved by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD) for up to 30 Continuing Certification Program (CCP) Component 2 Self-Assessment points. For more information about CCP, please visit the ABD website at www.abderm.org.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Recognize and/or diagnose commonly tested images related to medical dermatology, pediatric dermatology, surgical dermatology, and clinical pathologic correlates.
Identify strengths and weaknesses in one's fund of knowledge to better prepare for the ABD certification exam and/or in-training exam and make improvements as needed.
