DESCRIPTION
Six Sigma, Motorola/Toyota Production Systems and LEAN techniques are tools routinely used in business settings to improve efficiency and decrease errors but are rarely used in medical settings. This session will teach the attendees the principles of these tools and how to apply them in their practices or other settings. In the current climate of decreasing reimbursement, practices need to become as efficient as possible to maintain revenue margins to remain solvent.

Utilize proven tools of operations management to increase office efficiency
Eliminate waste and decrease medical errors within dermatology practice
Objectively measure metrics of office efficiency and predict how application of these tools on an ongoing basis will continue to improve performance
