INC5 Starts at 7PM - Expert Forum: Navigating the Spectrum of Skin Color in Dermatology
DESCRIPTION
As the U.S. population becomes increasingly diverse, dermatologists will be required to apply better equity and cultural competence in their daily practice to meet the needs of individual patients. In this Pfizer-sponsored Industry Non-CME (INC) Program, a panel of experts will share considerations for managing patients with skin of color and diverse backgrounds and describe best practices for individualized patient care. During the session, participants will learn to appreciate the heterogeneous clinical presentation and disease burden of atopic dermatitis (AD), alopecia areata (AA), and vitiligo across diverse skin types and patient backgrounds, and the implications these have on clinical practice.
