F101 Greatest Cases from the Dermatopathology Slide Club
DESCRIPTION
Slide clubs are a time-honored way that dermatopathologists and pathologists share interesting and educational cases with their colleagues. Slide clubs provide a rich resource for teaching. In this fast-paced session, a group of dermatopathologists from an established slide club (whose members are in both academic and private practice, and include national experts in alopecia, nail unit disorders, and cutaneous lymphoma) will share their best and most instructive dermatopathology cases. These patient-based cases will focus on lessons learned for the general dermatologist.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Discuss common and uncommon dermatologic diagnoses in the context of the pathologic findings.
Apply skills in clinicopathologic correlation to ensure correct dermatologic diagnoses.
Discuss recent updates in the dermatopathology literature.
