DESCRIPTION

Topics to be covered include updates in treatments for psoriasis , atopic dermatitis and other inflammatory dermatoses; updates on surgical and cosmetic procedures; updates on the new therapies available for pediatric and adult skin disease; and genetic testing to predict the prognosis of melanoma.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Recognize the advantages and disadvantages of cosmetic and surgical techniques.

2.

Select optimal therapies for patients with a number of cutaneous disorders including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, vitiligo, alopecia and others.

3.

Discuss therapeutic guidelines for alopecia areata, including dosing, duration of treatment and clinical prognosis
