F005 Platelet Rich Plasma
DESCRIPTION
This session will discuss various aspects of platelet rich plasma (PRP) including mechanism of action, preparation systems and dosing. This includes PRP protocols for various types of alopecia and skin rejuvenation. Platelet rich fibrin (PRF) will also be discussed along with stem cells and how they differ from PRP as well as combined uses for both skin and hair. Regulatory issues surrounding PRP, stem cells, and exosomes will also be discussed.
